Why We Roll
Craxis started with the hopes to give other filmmakers a chance to get their foot in the door. We aim to capture the raw emotions that film can invoke. These artists, whether the director cast or crew, have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Hollywood has had a chokehold on the industry and film is on the cusp of innovation.
At Craxis, we hope to capitalize on that cusp and show the world you don’t need to be a multi-million/billion dollar company in order to tell an impactful story. All you need is unified ambition and drive within your cast and crew. Whether that’s a team of one or one hundred. Ambition is your folly, chase it no matter what.

DESPONDENCE is a coming-of-age psychological drama following Andrés, a seventeen-year-old boy desperate to escape a life defined by illness, abuse, and the fear of being left behind. Chasing a better life, he gets lost along the way and loses the only support he had. Andrés embarks on an uncertain journey west, where he meets another person in a similar situation to him. As the two search for freedom and a new beginning, Andrés slowly learns that no matter how far you run, grief… and the people you leave behind, are never as far away as they seem.
